Regulations

Foreigners accessing this site should always be reminded that the People's Republic of China is a Socialist Communist Society.

China is a controlled society, "Western Democracies"  are regulated societies.

The principles are quite different. Whereas the West is regulated through an excessive  plethora of legislation; Statutes, Regulations, By-laws. The People's Republic of China maintains the principles and maintenance of Law through the more pragmatic approach of Guidelines,  Provisions and Rules.

Many persons residing overseas believe they have inalienable rights imbedded in their Constitutions and  that by travelling to China these rights will be stripped from them.  This is entirely untrue.  China's Foreign  Policy is tuned to world peace and harmony between all countries, China's domestic policies are  designed to stimulate love of country, respect for all people and property, compassion and caring for  fellow countrymen, and the right of all Chinese to strive hard for the betterment their country and personal position.

The following Legislation is available on this Web site for the purpose of better informing those individuals  interested in work in China as a Foreign Expert.  If this material is downloaded, please respect the fact  that it is "Legislation" (The Law of China)  and should not be altered in any way.

  • SAFEA REGULATIONS  FOR FOREIGN EXPERTS 2002

  • INTERIM MEASURES FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS FOR FOREIGN EXPERTS WORKING IN THE CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL FIELDS

  • Provisional Measures Concerning the Management of Overseas Organisations and Domestic Intermediary Organisations Introducing Foreign Experts in the Cultural and Educational Fields to Work in China.
(Promulgated by the State Bureau of Foreign Experts on 15 June, 1993)

  • Provisions on the Administration of Religious Activities of Aliens within the Territory of the People's Republic of China
(Promulgated by the State Council on 31 January, 1994)
